While a lot of people were happy to see WhatApp now notifies you when somebody reads your messages, not everyone took so well to the change.
Well, fret no more – the newest version of WhatsApp for Android
(version 2.11.44) lets you disable the new receipts under the privacy
section of your settings menu.
It’s a small touch, but it’s nice to see WhatsApp giving users
additional control after some initial backlash...
